I'm thrilled with these shoes!
I prefer to cross the long strap around the top of my foot (rather than the ankle) and find these extremely comfortable. I wouldn't say the footbed itself is wider than other Tangolera shoes, but because the portion of the shoe that holds the ball of the foot in place is strappy (and made of such yummy soft leather), it's a bit more forgiving of wider feet than a solid piece of patent leather might be.
I also like that the stamped gold leather catches the light without shedding the way some glittery shoe materials do.
